I came to this restaurant because of the reviews. I like this place!! The service was awesome, very helpful and the food was amazing. Would definitely come back for more. And the Thai tea was on point!!!! I had the pho and my boyfriend had the sesame chicken, super crispy . the only exception was that there was a small hair in the rice but hey its not my food lmao. It was still good

The last two times I went, I have to say that the meat (especially the tendon) in my soup was not very fresh. The herbs (which is one of the best parts of pho) were a bit wilted as well.

Absolutely delish! Vietnamese is one of my favorites but there are so many places that westernize their meals. The authenticity of the meal is lost regardless if its a hole in the wall restraunt or not. This place did not disappoint me at all. The food was flavorful and really hit the spot. Vietnamese ice coffee is a must try....I enjoy it anytime of the day. If your sensative to caffeine...don't try it towards the end of your day...it may keep you up. Man oh man its yummy! Nice clean place..nothing fancy. Nice and casual. There are a couple of TV's inside..one showing the news and the other sports. Staff was friendly and efficient. There was no long wait after we sat down. Food was prepared fairly quickly. Food presentation was good...and the food tasted just as good as it looked. If your in the area check them out. They also have take out.

Good place to go for lunch if you work in the Fort Carson area; it wasn't crowded and the service was quick. Many menu options besides pho, give the combo items a try.

For quick fix on Pho, this is a good spot. The place is easy to find, clean and busy with patrons. The pho tasted good, both was rich and authentic, not watered down or lack flavor as some other places. My kid ordered the lo mein and she loved it.

I am a Pho-finatic and have tried many Pho restaurants in the Springs. Of all of the places, this place had to be the cheapest. However, the Pho soup had no taste, the sides were few (1 small cut of lime, wilted basil and cilantro, 4 tony slices of Jalapeno) and the appetizer had 1 small shrimp in each. Its a pretty sad place in my opinion. I wouldn't come back!

I got lunch special P.1 it was only 4.95$ so cheap and so delicious. Best pho in Colorado Springs no doubt! I'm a pho fan and been all over town for pho this is the best! I'd recommend for Everybody who wants pho to come here. The vegetables that comes with pho is so fresh and clean. The restaurant is so open and extremely clean restroom is clean and the service is nice. The waitress is so attentive and extremely extremely nice! I'll be back again tomorrow probably!

Amazing food, and amazing customer service. The owner was so nice, it was honestly like she was family and I had only just met her. We came when they were closing and they still served us and told us to stay as long as we like. Thai tea was amazing!

We were craving pho close! Great costumer service super nice, kebab meat cheese wontons were a little Krispy and offered to re make them but we loved them Krispy! Pho was great! Everything was perfect since we walked in!

Came for Pho here twice. The first time was so delicious & amazing I got the pho with steak and brisket. The second time was blahhh, pho was bland and the waitress had an attitude. I've tried their shrimp and steak Vietnamese egg roll and they were okay I'd never had that kind before so I can't say much I don't know how they were supposed to taste but I'd never order them again. There Chinese food looked pretty awesome though so if I were you I'd skip the pho and opt for a cooked dish

My husband and I love pho/Asian food, and this place met our expectations! Great variety of foods and drinks. The decor is nice and clean. Servers were so friendly!! We definitely will be returning. Cannot wait to try some other things.

This restaurant just opened this week (October 2, 2013) and I've eaten here twice. The first day I ordered a small rare steak Pho, it was delicious and plenty big enough (I didn't finish it but it was a good size for my husband). The server was unfamiliar with the menu, but considering they just opened it wasn't a big deal. Plus, they were all so accommodating and pleasant, it made up for it. I loved the Pho so much the first time, I went back after a couple of days and took a large group of people with me. We tried the lettuce wraps...very yummy. The chicken noodle bowl...which was bigger than my face! No lie. Others in my party ordered off the dinner menu and the portions are very large, would easily feed two people. The owner suggested we do "family style" next time and just order a few meals and all share. Good idea if you're with the right people that would enjoy that. They just opened so they're working on having quick service, but they make up for it in their friendliness. Excellent place! Here's an update. Every time I've been here they've gotten our order wrong and someone in our party has had to wait a long time for their meal. Today they got 4 out of 4 orders wrong. The food is good but I can't say it makes up for the service, especially if you're taking guests. I'd really like to give it 2.5*.

I ordered the pho #2 to go this weekend and I gotta say it was spot on. The broth smelled so good on my drive back home, it only taste even better. I got a large and it had a generous amount of noodles, brisket, and the rare steak. This will definitely be my new pho spot.

I've eaten in once and ordered takeout multiple times. I am definitely a fan of the pho but feel like I'm short-changing myself by not taking advantage of the more traditional fare there. The Thai tea and coffee are very good here. The former is not cloyingly sweet and the latter has a great caffeine kick. The spring rolls are decent. With my last visit, I satisfied my curiosity for their take on boba tea and was a bit letdown. Back home in Chicago, it's usually very icey with a smoothie consistency and a good deal of boba (tapioca) balls. I asked for the Thai iced tea version and got just that, a Thai iced tea with boba. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and try another flavor on my next stop. *Updated to 4 stars - the rice and noodle entrees with grilled proteins are fantastic!*

We loved this place and used to go at least once a week for 6 months. This last time we went the service was the worst ever and I think they must have started using MSG or gave us last weeks pho broth because out of 7 in our table 5 of us got sick. So needless to say we are in search of a new pho place.

    (1)
  • Tina N.

We've eaten here about five times this year. The first time was amazing along with the second and third. The two most recent times we're not up to our expectations. The staff has changed for the worse. Whoever was in charge needs to come back and get this place back into shape. The waiter seems to always be in a rush and have an attitude. The Phó is still good along with most of the food, but due to the lack of customer service, we may not go back.

    (2)
  • Sa'lome H.

Every pho restaurant always comes down to the main dish.....and the Pho here does not disappoint one bit! The broth is perfectly seasoned and that makes or breaks it. Also be warned if u get the large. It's insane!! My rating is based solely on the pho. Since this is my first time here I can't speak on the other food. More to follow.

  • Da L.

I got the pho tai, spring rolls, egg rolls and egg drop soup. Pho tai was pretty good, but I wish it had more meat w the large sized bowl that I ordered. The egg rolls were pretty good but the spring rolls only had shrimp and noodles and a few pieces of lettuce. Service was mediocre. Not the best pho place I've been to but worth a visit if you're in the area.

  • Norman M.

The food is nothing special, the timeliness of the service is absolutely horrendous. Not sure if they don't realize that people have lives or things to do, but when you are the only patrons at the establishment, you shouldn't continuously go 10-15 minutes without anyone coming by.

    (1)

I'm a big fan of pho and started trying out all of the Vietnamese restaurants as soon as I got to Colorado Springs. Pho Saigon Grill just opened up in October so me and my buddy had to try it out. This is hands down the best pho in the Colorado Springs area. Each bowl is loaded with generous amounts of meat and noodles, unlike the other restaurants who consistently do not meet expectations. The restaurant is very clean and quiet and the service is exceptional. I go there at least once a week now and have not been close to disappointed even once. My order has always been prepared very promptly and without error. Definitely a must-have if you like pho or just like good food.

  • Paul J.

After several visits, I'm not sure i can go back. The owners are extremely nice and are very apologetic, but my food comes out wrong every time. I have given them the benefit of the doubt but it does get frustrating. The other thing that bothers me is that everyone's food can't seem to make it to the table at the same time...even close to the same time. On multiple occasions, one or two (or even three) people were still waiting for their order when others were finishing their food. Maybe these things will work themselves out as time goes by (I hope). Until then, I'm afraid I have a few other places to try pho.

Avoid, unless you want sh*tty service and f*cked up orders. The first time we came it was good. Service was good. Today for lunch, we waited over an hour for our food only for it to get messed up and some people's food came out COLD! You would think they would give a discount for the inconvenience, but no just an apology. Sorry, there won't be a next time here. I rather drive to PHO-nomenal!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
